Skilled Workers, Professionals and Other Worker 

To be eligible in this category you must first have an approved labor certification, and fall under one of the following:

• Professionals - Baccalaureate degree (or foreign university equivalent) and a person who is a member of that profession. Note that you must have an actual degree from a university in order to qualify for this section. The equivalent of a degree in unacceptable.
• Skilled Workers - Full-time permanent job requiring at least two years training or experience. Note that relevant post-secondary education may be considered as training for this section.
• Other Workers - Includes other workers with less than two years of training and experience. If you fall within this category, even with an approved labor certification and due to the limited number of immigrant visas given to the category, it could upwards of ten to fifteen years before the priority date, is reached
